The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said on Monday that four more people accused of violating Clarke Quay's safe management standards will face penalties (March 21).
The four men, aged 19 to 22, were accused of breaking Covid-19 restrictions during a New Year's Eve gathering in Clarke Quay that drew hundreds of people.
Three other people have been slapped with $1,000 composition notices for similar offenses.
The total number of perpetrators who have been or will be charged in relation to the same incident now stands at 14. The total number of those who have received notices of composition presently stands at 19.
Six men were charged earlier this month in connection with the same incident, which saw hundreds of people ring in the New Year in gross violation of Covid-19 safe management rules in what could have turned into a super-spreader event.
Some of the men accused did not wear a mask over their noses and mouths, while others did not maintain a safe distance.
The URA statement said: "As we are still in the midst of a pandemic, it is important that everyone is socially responsible and complies with the prevailing safe management measures.
"The authorities will not hesitate to take enforcement action against errant individuals and businesses. We urge everyone to play their part to protect their own health and that of others."
Those found guilty of violating Covid-19 regulations face a fine of up to $10,000, a six-month prison sentence, or both.
