Iris Koh, who has made a name for herself by opposing the Covid-19 vaccinations that have saved many lives throughout the world, was recently charged with making false statements to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
For the new charges, she is said to have collaborated with Jipson Quah, 34, a medical practitioner, to fraudulently state that Gary Tho Kong Choong had received a Sinopharm vaccination when he had not, in order for Tho to get a vaccine certificate.
She was previously charged with providing false statements to the Department of Health and hindering a police officer from conducting their duty.
The 46-year-old founder of the anti-vaccine organization Healing the Divide, Koh, has asserted her innocence.
Koh has posted a lot of videos on YouTube in response.
She asserts that the group's members are "law-abiding people."
"Healing the Divide will never ask its members to engage in unlawful behavior or activities, and certainly not to defraud the Department of Health with fraudulent vaccination certificates.
All of our conversations occur in public Telegram groups. Our website includes all of our content. Our Zoom recordings and events are performed in broad daylight. There is nothing to conceal,"
She emphasized that her sole objective is to "sue the government and end these (vaccine) requirements."
However, the founder of Healing the Divide appears to have another enemy: the media.
In a video dated July 26, she added, "I'm sure the media will have a field day tomorrow," one day before the fresh allegations against her were announced.
"Did the false media report about my case against the government of Singapore for crimes against humanity? No.
Did the false media inform you that a nine-year-old child has filed a harassment lawsuit against Mr. Ong Ye Kung? No.
Did the false media inform you that SPH (Singapore Press Holdings) has recognized that their newspaper articles targeting the unvaccinated in our community were not factual? No.”
Koh may have believed a variety of conspiracy ideas, as she explains:
"What else is the phony media keeping from you?
It's time for you to find out."
She continues by stating that she has been under stress and that she has three options: leave the country, "take the vaccination and die," or "stand up and fight."
Koh then says in a cryptic manner that "many people have died recently" and that "what I'm going through isn't that horrible anyhow, because I'm still here."
Contrary to her statements, a research released last month by Imperial College London indicated that around 20 million lives were saved by Covid-19 vaccinations in the first year after they were made available to the public.
The study, which was published in the journal Lancet Infectious Diseases on June 23, indicates that an extra 600,000 fatalities may have been averted if the World Health Organization's aim of achieving 40 percent vaccine coverage by the end of 2012 had been met.
The ministry noted that the "Healing the Divide" YouTube channel "has a history of uploading and disseminating inaccurate and deceptive material concerning COVID-19 and vaccinations." /TISG
