A 32-year-old woman is being investigated for partaking in a public assembly without a permission, according to a statement released by Singaporean police on Tuesday.
According to the police, the Singaporean woman allegedly organized a protest on Monday outside the Chinese Embassy that "pertained to issues in China."
According to the police, she was instructed to cease her protest, and she complied.
"The Police would like to remind the public that organizing or participating in a public assembly in Singapore without a Police authorization is an offense under the Public Order Act," stated the statement.
The lady believed to be Kelly Ong, the team owner and Chief Strategy Officer of the Swedish esports organization Alliance, who tweets under the name @kellymilkies.
Ong had previously tweeted that she was "alone outside" the Chinese embassy on Tanglin Road in Singapore.
She also posted photos of signs, one which read, "Release innocent arrested people. Only scientific isolation. Stop violent policing. Let students lives return to normal."
Later on Tuesday evening, Ong tweeted that her passport had been taken, but that she hoped to get it restored in time for the Bali 2022 WE Championships on December 3 and 4.
According to a tweet from Alliance's Twitter account, Ong was invited to the event as a mentor.
