Expat calls out racist security guards who didn't let his friends in his condo

Racism exists everywhere, even in Singapore.

However, a British expatriate stated this as one of the reasons he is fed up and "leaving this country."

Chrishendoo said in a TikTok video uploaded on Sunday, November 13: "You would think that it no longer exists. We are in the year f*** 2022, yet this is unbelievable."

The British native, who has lived in Singapore for five years, stated that "some of the things" he has witnessed here have rendered him speechless.

Chrishendoo provided a "clear example" of what he alleges was a racist act that occurred on Sunday to prove his case.

The guy explained that a strong downpour made it impossible to hold a 50-person event at West Coast Park, so he opted for "Plan B" — inviting everyone to his condo instead.

However, a member of the security officers allegedly prevented several of his migrant worker friends from entering his unit.

What's the reason? Simply that they had a work permit, Chrishendoo stated in the video.

Including how he arrived at the guard house ""I'm an EP (Employment Pass) holder, and I've got S Pass holders, locals, and individuals with work permits here," the guy said, indignantly.

"You decide to question them and request their pass since they have a particular skin color and nationality. What are you up to? It is f****** insane."

Chrishendoo stated that the condo security personnel should have phoned him to confirm that these migrant workers are his invited guests rather than holding them up at the guard house.

He stated that all of his guests, not just those with work permits, should have been questioned.

He said: "Singapore, you need to grow up. You need to get out of this mindset.

"Get me out of here, I'm done!"
