With the reopening of the country's borders with Singapore on April 1 of this year, a great deal of pent-up travel demand has been released. More traffic normally correlates with a larger risk of traffic violations, and in this context, those committed by visiting Singaporean motorists have been extensively documented.
This time, a Singapore-registered BMW 3 Series collided with the Honda e beloging to a member of the royal family of Johor, namely Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Ibn Sultan Ibrahim.
The photographs and closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained from surrounding establishments were shared on Tunku Idris' Instagram page with the phrase "Perangai," which means attitude.
This was in response to the negligent motorist who not only collided with and damaged his Honda e while attempting to enter a close parking place, but also continued walking away after parking.
It is very doubtful that the driver of the BMW 3 Series was ignorant of their vehicle colliding with another based on the force that visibly shook the electric Honda. However, the resolution of the issue, if any, was not disclosed in this social media post.
