Grab riders in Singapore may now request a "Quiet Ride" if they do not wish to engage in conversation with their drivers throughout their journey.
"Quiet Ride"
Passengers' desire for minimal conversation will be conveyed to drivers.
Grab stated that "essential conversations" such as confirming the passenger's identification and journey details "must still happen."
Additionally, drivers may opt to listen to music or the radio and take phone calls.
After selecting "Quiet Ride," it will be the default for further rides.
According to Grab's website, the service is not accessible for GrabShare and GrabHitch at this time.
Previously, the "Quiet Ride" function was tested in Malaysia before being implemented in Singapore.
