M'sia "influencer" chasing clout comparing S'pore Nasi Lemak to her homeland

It's well known the place she went to isn't the best

After trying Ponggol Nasi Lemak, a woman on her first vacation to Singapore felt that Kuala Lumpur's nasi lemak was superior.

Two Grab drivers she spoke with concurred that Malaysian cuisine was likely better to Singaporean cuisine.

Ivor Xian Z stated in a video she posted on TikTok on Monday (18 July) that she couldn't believe it was her first trip in Singapore.

When she asked where she might have nasi lemak in Singapore, her driver immediately suggested Ponggol Nasi Lemak.

Following the driver's recommendation, the TikToker headed to the Jalan Besar restaurant and ordered fried chicken, fried egg, tempura prawn, and one veggie side dish with coconut rice.

"One slice of cucumber and one teaspoon of sambal!" the TikToker said, noting that the cost of the meal was S$8.

Then, she encouraged anyone desiring authentic nasi lemak to fly to Malaysia and "never look back."
