Malaysian police have detained the two Singaporeans engaged in a road rage incident near the Tuas Second Link last Saturday.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief Rahmat Ariffin stated in a statement on Friday (15 July) that a Singaporean man and woman were detained at the Sultan Abu Bakar Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex on Thursday night (14 July).

This is the Malaysian immigration checkpoint for the Second Link.

The Malaysian police had earlier stated that they were searching for the couple for mischief.

The statement claimed that the two suspects confirmed their involvement and were thought to have been angry because their vehicle was obstructed and damaged.

The woman was shown on film removing a license plate off a black Toyota Alphard that collided with her red Kia automobile and hurling it at the Toyota's windshield.

She then attempted to halt the Toyota while the man made offensive gestures toward it.
