Mata not pursuing further action on student who held anti-death penalty sign at graduation ceremony

The police will take no further action against the National University of Singapore graduate who displayed an anti-death sentence placard during his July 7 graduating ceremony.

Luke Levy said on Twitter on September 6 that he had gotten a police advisory informing him of the outcome of their investigation.

Levy shared a photo of the warning and stated that police had cautioned him "to desist from similar behaviour in the future" after opting not to pursue the issue in conjunction with the Attorney-General's Chambers.
