March 30th, Lee Hsien Loong met with his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim, in China.
Both leaders delivered a speech during the Opening Plenary of the Bo'ao Forum for Asia (BFA) in Hainan, China, during their official visits to China.
Anwar stated in a Facebook post that the two spoke about bilateral relations between Singapore and Malaysia.
"Face-to-face meeting with Singapore's Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong before attending Bo'ao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023 (BFA 2023).
Through this morning's meeting, Hsien Loong and I discussed several matters involving the relationship and two-way cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore.
May the friendly relations between [our] two countries be intact and flourish, God willing."
