Policeman committed suicide with gunshot wound to the head

On the morning of September 19, a Singapore Police Force (SPF) officer was discovered with a gunshot wound at 1 Bayfront Avenue and pronounced deceased.
In response to a CNA inquiry, SPF stated, "On September 19, 2022, at 9:44 a.m., a 29-year-old police officer from the Central Police Division was discovered with a gunshot wound beside 1 Bayfront Avenue."
"Consequently, he was pronounced dead. A pistol was discovered and seized at the scene."
SPF stated that based on preliminary findings, no foul play is suspected.
Investigations are ongoing.
