A housewife told The Straits Times that while in Chiang Rai, she unintentionally consumed cannabis-laced noodle soup.
She didn't realize her mistake until the next day, when she ordered the same dish with her family and saw a cannabis leaf next to the photo of the dish on the menu.
The woman stated that there was no other indication that the food included cannabis, and she was surprised to find it in a "ordinary dish."
She explained that she mistook the cannabis for kangkong since it was simmered in the broth like any other vegetable.
Some Singaporeans, erring on the side of caution, have chosen not to enter cannabis stores.
