The Straits Times reported that on January 17, an unidentified material was discovered sprayed around the nine-story Catholic Centre building on Waterloo Street, prompting the evacuation of the building's occupants.
A white substance was discovered at the Bible House on Armenian Street on Monday.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force responded to both occurrences.
The incident at Bible House on Tuesday
The police reported to ST on Tuesday at 11:40 a.m. that a "white material was discovered at a site along Armenian Street."
The SCDF was called to conduct an investigation.
SCDF collected a sample of the material, and testing revealed no danger.
The police are investigating the incident on Tuesday.
The incident at Catholic Centre on Wednesday
Wednesday at 9:55 am, SCDF was notified of the situation at the Catholic Centre.
SCDF and police personnel were seen outside of the building.
The material, which looked to be a liquid, was discovered on the walls of two sides of the Catholic Centre as well as in the building's lobby.
ST stated that all building occupants were evacuated by 10:30 a.m.
Following checks by police and SCDF officials, occupants were permitted to re-enter the building around 12:20 p.m.
According to a spokesperson for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore, a police report was filed.
