A 100kg WWII bomb was discovered at Upper Bukit Timah, during excavation for the upcoming The Myst condominium. The bomb will be detonated on-site by the SAF's Explosive Ordnance Team (EOD). Here is what you need to know.
1. Affected residents in the area must evacuate between 8am and 7pm on 26 Sep.
2. Roads in the area will be closed and bus services diverted. The Downtown Line is unaffected.
3. A 100kg bomb sounds frightening, but the SAF has cleared such ordnances before, including one of the exact same size 10 years ago.
